Pros and cons of 5:2 Diet TrackMyFast app for iPhone and iPad

I started alternate day fasting (ADF) recently and was looking for an app to track it. There are a number of IF apps on the store but this one was free. Im happy with this app! You can set your fasting pattern and it automatically populates your calendar for ADF. If you go off schedule you can easily update your calendar and even reset your fasting schedule so you dont fall out of state. It tracks your weight and shows a chart of your progress. I dont track my calories input but this is provided if you want to use it on either fast days or non-fast days. I sometimes forget if Im on a fast or feed day and this app is great to have in my pocket.
I just started ADF and this app is fantastic for keeping track of what Ive eaten on fasting days, how much weight Ive lost, and whether Im on a fasting day or not. I do change fasting days sometimes, and I would love to be able to change non fasting days to fasting without changing the entire schedule (my only gripe). I think its totally worth the cost!
Im using this to track caloric intake on my intermittent fast days (1:1). The app is great with tons of useful features to include wellbeing, measurements, charts, etc. I also like its customization options and every time you open app it reminds you whether its a fasting day. My biggest frustration is with food tracking-- I would like to create recipes for my use w/o having to publish them. And itd be spiffy to do so from the daily log vs creating recipe, publish it, then search for it in daily log. I docked 1 star for this. I also would LOVE a notes section in the measurements tab so I can document factors influencing those measurements. Ultimately very helpful app with some room for being even better.

Some bad moments

The look and feel of the app is nice and consistent with new iPhone OS, but it lacks much substance for the price. No food database means that you have to figure out calorie counts for meals on another app and then insert them in the food diary. On the positive side, the app definitely has the 5:2 concept down.
